From the Touchline

In May if you had asked me if I would be returning to the touchline for the upcoming season, I honestly wouldn't have been able to give you a firm answer.

By our standards, last season was an absolute disaster. We were so close to folding it was untrue. To be quite frank it left me devastated that all of the time and effort that has been put into the club over the years was on the verge of going to waste.

Last season, is firmly in the past now and there seems to have been a breath of fresh air cast over the club.

Our new signings have blended perfectly with the existing squad members and their qualities are clear for all to see. There have even been whispers among the more senior players that the squad resembles that of the famous promotion winning side from a few years ago.

That of course remains to be seen but fingers crossed everything will be a bit rosier for us this season.

We start this Sunday, after a delay, against FC Lokomotiv Thunder in the El Woodsico.

Come on you Horns!

A regular catch-up with manager Dean Wigzell...
